All About RCCG Maranatha Assembly
At Maranatha Assembly—meaning “Behold, the Lord Cometh”—we are more than just a church; we are a vibrant, purpose-driven family and a beacon of hope in the heart of Whitby, Ontario. As a proud parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), we joyfully embrace people from all walks of life, united by our faith and our passion for serving God and our community.
Founded on March 1, 2015, and officially inaugurated on April 24, 2016, Maranatha Assembly has grown into a lively, multi-dimensional, and multicultural congregation. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of background, tribe, or culture. We believe our diversity is our strength, and together—guided by the timeless truths of both the Old and New Testaments—we are building a community where everyone can flourish.
Our Mission
- To make heaven.
- To take as many people with us.
- To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
- To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.
